So, I just completed assembly of the Ender 3. Very impressed with the quality and precision of the parts.
Used the creality slicer but the raft did not stick to the bed as the first layer was too loose.
Looks like the sensor is setting Z-zero too high. Not sure if printing is to be on the Ender bed plate, or should the prining be on another surface placed on the bed.
@dolon It should be printed on another surface placed on the bed. You can try to adjust the Z limit switch location as well.
@kevin Thanks for your reply. The limit switch would not go any lower, but I was able to fix it, by raising the bed 0.5mm. I looked closely and found the Z axis is homed on the limit switch with nozzle outside the bed. ( I thought it was a sensor homing the Z-axis like my other printers)
