Is the 4.2.2 board supposed to be silent? Both my ender 3 and ender 3 pro have the 4.2.2 board and neither are silent. Is there something im missing?

Hi, Bro. Mute or not is not mainboard version dependent. It depends on it the mainboard used silent drivers.
The V4.2.2 mainboard has two versions, HR4988 Non-mute driver chip, and TMC2209 mute driver chip.
Ender 3 and Ender 3 pro used HR4988 Non-mute driver V4.2.2 mainboard. If you want a silent printer, you could buy Ender 3 v2, it is a V4.2.2 TMC2209 mute driver chip.
Or upgrade your mainboard to V4.2.7. All 4.2.7 are mute.
