I just upgraded my Ender 3 Pro with the Silent Mainboard V4.2.7 with TMC2225 Driver running Marlin 2.0.1 and the Creality Touchscreen kit. When I start it, all I see is the Creality logo with an empty progress bar (see attached).
I've tried re-installing the firmware (Ender-3 Pro- Marlin2.0.1 - V1.0.1 - TMC2225 - English.bin) by copying the bin file to a micro SD card with nothing else on it (formatted FAT32). Insert the micro SD card and when I start the printer, I get the same screen. No progress. no movement. nothing.
I've confirmed all the wire connections. I took pictures of everything and uniquely marked wires to easily identify for relocating when I installed the v.4.2.7 board.
Am I missing something or do I have a dead board or something else?
@tenaciousdii If I read it correctly you installed all of those upgrades at the same time. You could try to reinstall the old mainboard and see if that works. That would rule out the mainboard.
@antonboeiduni does the old 8-bit mainboard work with the touch screen?
No, for the touch screen upgrade you need to upgrade your mainboard to 32 bit
