I have the official touchscreen from Creality on Ender 3 Pro. It worked fantastic. However I have serious problem now when starting to add my BLTouch. The Firmware with the Touchscreen & BLTouch doesnt seem to work because the Z axis dont go down and after updating my Screen with the latest (and supplied with the BLtouch firmware) DWIN_SET firmware it seems faulty. It freezes and gives grey boxes. It’s likely that I did something wrong, if someone knows what let me know.

But just the silence motherboard v4.2.7 with the touchscreen works great!

@remonkok i have the same setup- i needed to reconnect wires in a different specific order.

1. Go to creality.com/download > Ender series firmware > Ender 3 Pro 3D Printer > 08 Mar, 2021- Ender-3 series Touchscreen firmware (except Ender-3Max) .zip > open the zip folder and then the folder inside that until you see the folder named 4.2.7motherboard > open the folder named 4.2.7motherboard > the top BIN file should be the BLTouch one > copy it to a formatted micro sd card

2. On the mainboard, find the white 5 pin   thing > the order should be blue/brown wire = g, red wire = v, and yellow wire = in. (you may need to cut the wires and rearrange them using shrink wrap to recover them to fit this format) > next plug the z-stop wire (it may be backwards and not fit the slot) with the white wire on the “out” pin and the black one on the g pin.

3. Plug in and power on the Ender Pro 3 with the micro sd card that has the touchscreen firmware on it plugged in to the mainboard > the touchscreen should say creality and then a white bar below it. When the firmware loads click on “leveling” in the bottom right square and click the button that says Automatic Leveling. The leveling sequence should start and you’ll be good to go!

*note: the firmware update to the mainboard could take a minute or two.

I also have the same request.  I updated my E3 Pro with the 4.2.7 board and then the Creality Touch Screen.  Unfortunately, I lost a lot of function with the firmware to support the display.  A few are that the system does not recognize a sd card change, I have to turn the printer off and back on.  Also, there is no support for sd card directories.  As well as configuration settings like ability to adjust e-steps for dual filament drive.  I would like to know if there is a display setting already in the Marlin configuration.h file that can be used for the touch screen.  Thanks

Just as an update, I still haven’t been able to get any details from Creality as to what this touchscreen is to be able to support it.

There may be some info, but it seems that its not being shared.

@kevin Hi mate,

All my contacts there seem to have gone dark 🙁

It become hard to get technical details since the split between Creality, and the Creality Official team that run this forum and the store at https://www.creality3dofficial.com/

@marlin-firmware-service Hi – I see that you offered to help with this Ender-3 4.2.7 TouchScreen BLTouch firmware problem. I also bought the 4.2.7 and TouchScreen combo from Creality.  The firmware they keep sending is not working. They have replaced both board and screen for me, but no joy… Can you provide insight?  I am trying to build the .BIN using platformIO with some success but don’t think I’m getting the touchscreen configured correctly.   It’s a “DGUS” screen, if that helps.

By the way, the touchscreen is like the one on the CR-6 (no rotary knob)

I would like to use earlier mentioned “Ender3 pro, v4.2.7 mainboard, BLTOUCH+touchscreen firmware.”, but I am not allowed to view it. Can you give me access? Thanks!

@kevin Hi< I have downloaded the Creality firmware with bltouch and touchscreen and have changed the required details to suit my build and enabled Dwin lcd and touch but I keep getting an error stating MISO pin not defined. Do you know anything about this please?

Just pinging this to see if you’ve had any luck with this yet.  I’ve got a 4.2.7 with a Creality touch screen and am running your latest build of Marlin.  I’d be happy to test if you’ve not got access to the hardware.
