New to 3d printing.

I have several issues, but if its this loud it is not acceptable as a silent printer.

I just put the printer together and it is making horrible noises moving on the X and Y Axis.

I have tried adjusting the tension wheels so they stop when I touch them with my fingers, adjusted the Grub Screws.

I’ve checked all screws for tightness.

Nothing is changing the loud sound it makes when traveling on the X or Y Axis.

looks like the X Y motors have some issues with their physical structure or motor voltages. Z motor movement is better but the sound is still louder than a silent board should make.

you can check the mainboard version to verify its type and tell this issue to the seller. It is likely the mainboard problem.

@jamied You can open the controller cover and look at the mainboard, the version number is on the board.
