I bought Ender 5 Pro last week, I was able to print couple of models successfully. Today the z axis stopped moving.

I thought the z stepper motor failed to work, but when i connected the x-axis cable it was working fine.

Also tried checking if the cable was faulty one, but it was working when i connected to other stepper motors.

Changed the firmware to 1.0.1 version, still not working. Please help.

@pavan501 You have tested z stepper and the cable is fine, so the rest is the mainboard. Please use the same method to test the Z pin socket on the mainboard.

@pavan501 Not sure if this is the same problem you have, but my Z-axis was not working correctly.  The bed would go down, but it would not go up.  I checked all the wires, connections, and switches and found nothing.  Finally looked at the coupling for the Z-axis and found the lower screw on it was improperly installed and had been   stripped out. I replaced it with a new larger screw and it's working ok.
