Hello, I can’t seem to find information on how to build the firmware for the ender 5 plus.

I downloaded the source here:
https://forums.creality3dofficial.com/download/ender-series/ender-5-plus/

I don’t know if this is an arduino board, but I tried building in their ide  and received a build error “Pins for this chip not defined in Arduino.h”

I also tried following the instructions for marlin auto build here:
https://marlinfw.org/docs/basics/auto_build_marlin.html

but the “auto build marlin” doesn’t recognize it as a valid project folder. Additionally the creality folder in there only has one configuration and it is “CR-10”

Can anyone tell me how I am supposed to build this firmware? Thank you in advance.

That sounds like you don’t have a target board selected.

In the Arduino IDE go to the tools menu, then down to Board.  What do you have selected?
