Got my E5 assembled, powered on BLTouch goes red then blinks red, checked connections, all looks good FW is 1.70.2. Try to level and the bed goes down, then down more, then down more, The extruder goes to the middle, but nothing happens.
I noticed the pin is all the way in. It will not move. If I turn off the printer, and pull it out, on power on it goes all the way back in

but this sounds EXACTLY like what mine is doing .
but looks as if no one has been able to help you ….
any updates or did you get it fixed
