The weird thing is that with the setting turned off it actually SAVES time. Something that was going to take a bit over 18 hours with adaptive layers turned on turned out to be about 14 1/2 hours with it turned off. Maybe I don't understand the setting fully, but for me, at least for now, the setting will stay off.

Works really nice  😀 immediately noticed my stepper motor is tilting a little bit to the front..
So the next thing to print is a Z-stepper spacer to replace the shim rings I added when was assembling the printer.

You're getting too fancy for me! 😉  I did make a shim and put it behind the z-stepper motor to get the screw and frame rail parallel but not sure how much further I'm going to mess with it. Seems to be doing ok, but I guess it can always be "better".
