Hi,

I just got my new Ender 3 V2 with a 4.2.2 mother board version.

And I can confirm the fan noises are horrible.

Before changing them, I'd like to ay least control the hotend fan to stop it when it reaches under 40°.

Is it possible to control a pin of the mother board to know when the hotend is under a certain limit of temp ?

I think to use an optocoupler to control the alimentation of it. But I have to send a signal from th motherbooard, is it possible ?

Regards

Steeve

@sdess Hi Steeve. If you open the mainboard case you will find the hot-end fan is connected to an always-on fan port, so I think it is unable to control the hot-end fan air volume.
