[Solved] Ender 3 V2 will NOT Power up (due to Short at Bed???)
Accidently caused a spark under bed where power cable is soldered onto bed. Now printer will no longer power up or show any signs of life. I have tried the following, but still no luck. I have checked and tested the power cord, replaced fuse, replaced power supply (with switch at 115v), unplugged bed at Motherboard, unplugged LCD unit at MB. After each step above I would test for power, but still nothing. Fuse on MB looks OK, but not replaced.
HELP!!! I am lost what to test next, but maybe the MB. Is there any way to test the MB easily?? Requesting any ideas or suggestions. The original MB is a V4.2.2 and I have not upgraded the firmware since I received it in December of 2020. If replacing MB do I replace with a V4.2.2 or the newer V4.2.7.
So could the firmware on the printer get corrupted. It just seems like l should see some type of response when the power switch is flipped on.
UPDATE. Finally replaced MB and up and running. Replaced with the 4.2.7 mb.
