The one you just downloaded is as same as the one you have in the printer! Other firmware you see in that section are for different mainboard or Bl touch.

What problems you have with your printer?

Thank you for your reply.  I guess I had forgotten to reload the site until this morning because I just saw it.  As closely as I can remember, it was printing just fine and then it wouldn’t.  I’d put in a new .stl file, get the temps up, press print and it would immediately show ‘back’ and nothing else would happen.  Tried reformating cards, different cards, different .stl files and nothing worked.  I haven’t done ANY type of tuning or updating as yet so that should not be the reason.  After 3 or 4 attempts at flashing and .bin file renaming, I finally got it to make one print then it failed.  Renamed the .bin file again and it worked–still printing that file. Remember–I did not have benefit of your reply until this morning so I didn’t know which update to use and it appeared that I already was using the latest one–a further doubt for me!  It loses a lot in translation considering that I know so little and my explanation is good only so far as you can read into what I’m trying to say.  It’s a little like my trying to tell you my understanding of how to build a nuclear reactor!  You have an incredibly difficult job, especially as we have to type and there is no face-to-face. I admire you! 

@phranch Hi, please check the cpu on the board, RET6 means 512K and RCT6 means 256K, Because different cpu version has different firmware files, I made custom firmware for the 2 versions. Just copy the firmware to the sd card with the correct cpu version which you have on your board. Then put the sd card then power on the printer and wait 20 seconds.

And for lcd

1. In the firmware download there is a folder called “LCD Firmware”. Open that folder and then open the folder labeled “Ender 3 V2”

2. In there is a ZIP file called “Ender3_V2_LCDUpdate_TH3D_X.X”. Extract the DWIN_SET folder to a blank, FAT32 formatted MicroSD card.
NOTE: The files must be in a folder called “DWIN_SET”. If they are not the firmware will not update.

3. Power the printer off and remove the LCD from its snap on bracket.

4. On the rear of the Ender 3 V2 LCD there is a SD slot that you access by removing the 4 screws on the rear of the casing.

5. Insert the MicroSD card with the files on it into the LCD.
NOTE – The MicroSD card MUST be formatted with FAT/FAT32 with a 4096 byte allocation size or it will NOT flash.

6. With the LCD cable connected to the printer and the MicroSD card inserted into the rear of the LCD turn on the printer. You will see the LCD change from black to blue to orange. Wait 30 seconds after it turns orange and then power off the printer.

7. Remove the MicroSD card and re-assemble the LCD

8. Turn the printer on. You should see our logo and the Marlin logo when you power on if the firmware updated successfully
