Good evening everyone.

I am so dissapointed with my printer, I havent used it in over 4 months because I cannot get the BL touch to work.

Here is a trouble shooting video, sorry it is slightly long, but I think you can really see how it is just not working.

I tried contacting ANTCLABS over a month ago, they never answered back.

I also tried switching the black and white cable around (didnt change anything….)

Cable Setup

So basically, the z axis will not lower down when trying to autohome.

ANY and ALL help would be much appreciated.

Regards.

Did you swap the + and ground pins or ensure they were properly oriented with screenprinting V and G respectively on board? I didn’t understand why it matterered with the black and white wires since it was a switch, but the bl touch isn’t just a switch but a transistor. If + and grd are swapped you could damage both.

@mlogue Thank you for your answer

In the following link you can see my cable setup.

Someone recommended switching z axis cables to test (black GND/Output white). This did not change its performance

@Joe I have exactly the same issue. I contacted Creality support and they sent me out a new motherboard (Version 4.2.7) but alas the same issue is still there. I have a CR10S V2 with BLTouch and it works without fault 🙁

After much messing this afternoon I have managed to get my BLTouch working. I used the add-on board and changed the wires around to match the Creality video on installing the BLTouch. I then flashed the Firmware with the BL add on board and then it started working ? ?
