Hey,

I have some problems with flashing the firmware on the mainboard. Somehow i should be able to flash via SD-card, but nothing happens. I watched the video from creality and followed the instructions.

I don’t know what to do, to flash the firmware to the new bltouch 4.2.7.

Dear regards

P.S. I also tried to flash it with an USB cable, nothing happens too.

Firstly we make sure all the steps are followed.

  1. format the SD card and put the .bin file ( you need to change the file name to a different one to let the printer “think” it is a new firmware).
  2. turn on the printer and insert the card.
  3. there should be a beep sound when the new firmware is uploaded.
  4. check the screen info of the version, see if it displays the new firmware version.

Thanks, i solved the problem by formatting the sd card in the right way.

But I ran in another one: i flashed it with marlin 2.0.5. via sd card and nothing showed up (after 1 hour). I tried to flash another one, that worked on a friends machine, but waited the same for no result.

Any solution?

Thanks for the help ^^

@piche1 you need to change the file name every time to a different one to let the printer “think” it is a new firmware. So, simply change the firmware name except .bin and flash the printer. the whole process should take less than 3mins.
