I'm new using the Ender 3 pro I'm doing my first steps in 3D printing.
I´m printing a test piece that should be 20mm x 20mm x 20mm (calibration cube)
But it results a high of 17.6 mm x and y axes are fine.
Making other tests with larger pieces it resulted theat the overall high is not the same from one end to another. I did calibrate the bed checking several times, but no good results.
I'm attaching a picture of this piece as it has several holes that present a variation in high.
Another piece I printed with a total high of 10 mm resulted in a high of 8 mm
The total high of the object in picture should be 44 mm
Can somebody help?
I´m playing with the z-step that is set at 400 in the printer. I changed the calibration to 454.5 and it printed the high of the calibration cube at 21.5 mm and ended at 431.5 to get the 20 mm high.
Please tell me if I'm doing anything wrong. I think I´m not doing things properly, but this was the solution I came up with.
@enriquemtze Please check if the coupling of the Z-axis is loose. As it will cause the slippery wire that made your print lower.
I just found a issue with the x rail. It is not leveled.
Found the solution here:
