hi, i need an opinion on a crazy thought. i was wondering about the orientation of the heater in the heat block, it seems as if the heat block is upside down or reversed, the heater is offset to the top of the block slightly closer to heat break not the nozzle. is there a proper way to orient everything?

now i need an opinion, please be kind, is there any benefit to using the silicone insulating sock on top of the block? my thinking is less heat rising.
