HI,
In the site is not clear how to upgrade the firmware.
1º waht's the steps to do the upgrade? (On youtube is very complicated, involving bootloader install and so on, is it really needed?
2º Whats the firmware version to use? I supose it's this:
Ender-3_4.2.7_Firmware_Marlin2.0.1 – V0.0.6 – TMC2225
but theres also one for 32bits board???
Thank's in advance.
Manuel
1. We don't need to upload bootloader generally. The hex file is the firmware format we need.
2.There are many types of firmware. So firstly, we need to know what mainboard you are using and then we can find out which firmware you need.
Thank's for your reply.
I open the box where is the board to see the version and is 4.2.2.
So I pu in a new formated mini sd card and put the file:
Ender-3_4.2.2_32bit_Marlin2.0.1 – V1.0.1
And worked like a charm.
humm mine is 1.1.4 I am waiting for the Programmer to show up from Amazon today when it dose I should be able to upload to a newer version of the firmware by tonight... Wow that is a small board
I have my ISP Inter-phase running 1.1.6 Marlin attempting to upgrade my 1.1.4 v Board to a version with thermal Runaway protection and Mesh bed leveling so I want to do this without Voiding my Ender 3
@mds67Yep Yep Just did that with my 4.2.7 Quiet 32Bit and a Custom .BIN file I made on MVB from a 2.0.x Version of Marlin... the board has plugs for the Case fan a BL-touch a Runout sensor and an upgraded main Auto fuse... just give you the .BIN if you ever get the Board from Creality and don't want to buy a BL-touch
