Ender 3, raft keeps lifting up off bed.
I have printed a few items in PLA and everything works fine, I have just tried some PETG and increased the nozzle temp to 230 and set the bed temp to 60. I have found that the raft is lifting up off the bed slightly, the item I'm printing does continue to print and looks okay, but the bottom is not perfectly flat. Is the bed temperature too high?
@david-riley Hi, David. Generally, the PLA warps due to overheating. But for most other materials, they warp because the bed is not hot enough. PETG has low shrinkage so it will not warp usually. and it sticks well! Go ahead higher your bed to 70-75℃ if your bed can.
1. Try disabling your part cooling fan for the first few layers of the print to prevent warping.
2. Check your Z-offset, can it get more a little lower? Lower it maybe helps.
3. Lower down the print speed at the first a few layers will also get some help.
Thanks, Ill try increasing the bed temp first.
