Please help, I just bought a new Ender 3 Pro and installed the SKR mini e3 v2.0

I was able to get it turned on with the new firmware but no matter what i do, the X motor does not stop for more than a second before it starts skipping the motor. I am uneducated and pretty new to the world of programming so I would very much appreciate the help.
