Ender 3 Max with Marlin 126.96.36.199
I have an Ender 3 Max with the Marlin 188.8.131.52 software and 4.2.7 32 bit mainboard. I've been scouring the internet for the software to allow use of the BL Touch V3.1 probe and I'm not having any luck at all.
Like the story goes...do no harm, so before I start trying other parcels of Marlin software (GFL...) I'd like to know that I can get my system back to where it is now before I get it all out of whack like so many others. Does anyone have the Marlin 184.108.40.206.BIN file for the Ender 3 Max?
Any clue what file will enable the BL Touch for the Ender 3 Max?
@kevin Now you understand the basic problem... Still looking for the Marlin 220.127.116.11.bin file so I can get it back after I mess up the code.
@jslwelch When I bought the printer, it has v18.104.22.168 firmware and I "updated" my Max too, so I have 22.214.171.124 version... I wrote an email to Creality and they send me the original 126.96.36.199 firmware. I didn't tested it yet, I think it is the "out of the box" firmware, so it won't work with BL touch. I attached it.
@honor251 Is your board V4.2.2? Install the bl-touch and flash the firmware. That is easy.
@keviny I mean i heard bl touch won't work on ender 3 max
@honor251 Hi, friend, that is an individual case. Get the wire connection and firmware correctly, it will work.
@kevin Oh thx man ,Im gonna buy ender 3 max over ender 3 v2 or ender 5 pro Is it worth?
@honor251 Well, can not say that. It depends. If you are going to print some large models, Ender3 Max absolutely is the best choice. For me, the Ender3 v2 is an affordable machine. 😆
