So i decided to upgrade my Ender 3 Pro. I got the 4.2.7 board and a Creality touchscreen and a new BLtouch to go with the new board my old one was not compatible with the 4.2.7 board. I installed the Ender 3 pro 4.2.7 touchscreen with BLtouch firmware. It seems to work but its missing menu options ... like auto home. Instead of prepare it says ready. Ive asked around and even emailed Creality and have not got a reply from anyone. Anyone have any experience with this?

I have the same issue!
I have updated my Ender 3 Pro with an V4.2.7 motherboard and the Touchscreen as a kit and besides that installed the BLTouch. But I have issues working with the BLtouch.

I'm capable of rising it but not lowering the z-axis. I think it's an issue with the firmware. I have tried the one from Creality:
Ender-3 series Touchscreen firmware(except Ender-3Max.zip from https://www.creality.com/download

And those from the Creality Google Drive: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1rjNQRR6q80cnHFWGqe5iANVfL_tJxhtg?usp=sharing

But these ones don't work and if I use the one from my new motherboard than I can't use my touchscreen.

It does work with the old display (which I dont like and have troubles with).

If someone has an idea or the correct firmware please share it

@remonkok Contact with the Creality and push their tech team may get help, but I am not sure.

You can also go here to build your own firmware. https://marlin.crc.id.au/ Good luck.

@kevin Thanks for the help anyway.

I already have contact with the Creality Technical support and they gave me a solution. Unfortunately it didn't work but we keep on looking.

When we find out the solution I will post it for everyone too find it!

@xmonde The reason for the motherboard underlay file, if you want to upgrade to a touch screen, I would like to recommend you change the corresponding motherboard.

I’ve done the upgrade too (without the auto leveling) touchscreen + 4.2.7 and it won’t load the firmware.  Now, I have a screen that will light up but nothing more - no commands available.

any suggestions?

@sash7818 go here if link works https://www.creality.com/download

download this file Ender-3 series Touchscreen firmware(except Ender-3Max).zip

open file, go to board 4.2.7 or 4.2.2 if your using that one, in that folder you will see download for touchscreen with bltouch, it worked great for me, i did download wrong file first time which the firmware didnt work properly at all...just noticed i can upload a file

here is the file you need if it uploads
