Hello,

Today I put my SD card into my CR-6 SE and found that it wasn't displaying any files to print. I brought it back to my computer and found that all the files were gone except for a single corrupt looking ASCII file that I couldn't make sense of.

When I try to format the card (Windows 10) I get an error indicating that I can't format it.

I tried using the simple format tool as well as Disk Manager , no positive results.

I got a new SD card , loaded a gcode file into it from my laptop, plugged it into the CR-6 and same result. I have an unformattable SD card with a jumbled file on it.

Any advice?

@dapper  Looks like there is a problem with the card slot on the motherboard, which means there is a problem with the motherboard.
