Hello,

I have a problem with the z-axis of my printer.
When the axis goes up or down, there is a thud and vibrations.
I updated the printer yesterday with version 2.0.1.3 (HW 4.5.2) and the miracle is no more noise, but this morning the noise is present again.
What can I do?

Thanks.

Hello

@Yume, check the adjustment of the eccentric wheels on each Z axis(1 on each side), if they are too tight the motors will move with difficulty. Also for the same reason check if you have enough grease on the long screw of the Z axis.
You can also disconnect(I mean electricly) one by one the Z motors en try, if one is noisier than the other.

Hello,

@phil-free Thank you for this advice.

I have no play in my wheels and I have greased my two threaded rods but the noise is still present.
I then tested the engines one by one, the first engine, no problem, fluid and silent movement, then comes the second engine that makes a mechanical noise and turns upside down, when I make the z axis go up it goes down and when I make it go down it goes up ????
