My 1 month old CR-6 SE lost power just after pulling filament out. I preheated the PLA and then pulled the filament out when the unit died. No power. Is there a reset on the power supply? Other possible causes? Fuse is still good.
Check the main switch. Do you feel a real click when you move from off to on? If not it is a bad switch. There were issues with them when the printers first shipped.
So I checked and I do NOT feel a real click when moved from off to on. Can I get a replacement switch? Looks pretty easy to replace.
I bought these on Amazon

Thanks, looks like easy fix.
I have bypassed the power switch and the unit powered up and runs okay. I have ordered the switches. Thanks.
I just purchased and opened the CR-6 yesterday. My son assembled and it doesnt turn on – no red light on power switch or lighting on display panel. After reading this string, I wonder about my power switch. Any other suggestions? My first test will be to bypass the power switch and see if it gets power.
I think that’s the best approach and it’s easy. Mine clearly did not have the snap when you hit the switch so I pretty much knew it was the switch. If not, next up is the power supply.
