This is really frustrating.
Brand new CR-6 SE just grinds the entire print head against the glass for about a minute and then spits out a 202 error. I flipped the glass over because it was starting to get a divot and it does the same thing.
Considering boxing it up and sending it back to the store.
What is wrong with this printer?
DERP.
There was a cable unplugged on front of the left leg of the gantry. The install guide calls it the “photoelectric switch wire”. Probably means the photosensor was disconnected, so the Z axis had no way of telling how far away the printing platform is.
@sully1570 when you take of the housing from the hotend you will find a potentio meter
now take a kitchen scale and let the gantry come down on the scale till you got 125 grams then trim the potentiometer to just the led lite up
@johan-jorez can you direct me to a detailed calibration for the 125 gram force calibration?
@sully1570 i had this exact issue! was coming here to find out why and boom there it was!
