Hi guys and gals,

Has anybody managed to find a definitive fix for the 24V on the USB shield? So far I seem to be finding quite a bit of conflicting info, but not much in the way of actual causes and most of the fixes seem rather ad-hoc.

Serial is P202J08I04305 (if that helps)

Cheers..

Edit: While trying top get a pic of my meter I have managed to short the shield to the case.. got a nice fat spark and voltage has dropped. Printer is still printing fine but I suspect I have popped a fuse on the board.

@rumsponge The printer is still working, and the board should be fine.

@kevin Yeah mate, kind of figured it must be ok to still be operating. But you have to admit its bloody strange that the voltage dropped after the short. I'm not sure if I'm going to risk my hardware plugging into that USB, and it still doesn't explain why Creality released such a poor excuse for QA printer.
