I am a novise in D-printing.

The nozzle of my Creality CR 10s Pro  crashes into the bed and I don’t know how to solve the problem.

I have tried different things:

Whilst printer off I winded the two large threaded lugs at the base of the two threaded z shafts so the heads sits up quite high. Then powered up and redid cal, trying to make the print head higher than it thinks it is. Unfortunately it didn’t work

I also turned the screw on the sensor clockwise in order to raise the point where the sensor reacts.

When trying to level the bed the nozzle goes to the middle. Lower twice just above the bed, the third time it crashes into the bed. Even though the ledlight is on.

Any help is welcome!

Best regards

Bo

@bobenten It should have a BL-touch, did not it work at all? Did the probe eject out normally like the unboxing video? https://www.creality3dofficial.com/collections/cr-series/products/cr-10s-pro-v2-3d-printer.

If not, please check the is there anything stuck with the probe.

Hello!

I am sorry I was not se detailed with my problem.

The printer is Creality CR10S Pro (V1). It is appr. 2 years old and the sensor is the original unductive sensor.

Is it possible to upgrade this machine to BL Touch?

@bobenten In theory, yes. But I would like to remind you that there is an incompatibility risk with the firmware. If your printer can work correctly, I do not recommend you do that.
