Hi there
I have unfortunately damaged my cr10s pro stock build plate becuase the nozzle dived into the bed when tinkering (i somehow fixed now on this stock plate) . As I much prefer the finish you get on a glass bed and things don't seem to want to come unstuck without hurting myself on the rough sticker I decided to buy a glass bed as I had fantastic results on the cr10s
I understand the capacitive sensor needs calibration to recognise glass to avoid diving into the bed i have desperately been trying to find some sort of instructions for setting the sensor correctly for a glass plate but I can't find a good enough instruction anywhere and I would be gutted if the nozzle dives again on my nice new glass bed, please can anyone give some installation steps for calibration with a glass bed? I would forever be grateful . I haven't seen anyone demonstrate this on YouTube which is very unusual so I'm praying I can get some support here.
I have bought this bed from amazon I suspect it will be 4mm . I am fine with the installation of the plate itself but the potential for serious damage becuase of the sensor is really worrying me

Please help ?
Thanks in advance.

I have moved your topic to the CR10 section since you posted it at the wrong place. a capacitive sensor and glass bed? I'm not sure about it, maybe with some black tapes on the bed? how about a BL touch.
