How does the Runout code work?

I just hooked up a simple runout switch, normally open, and when you short the two the printer stops dead.  I don't see a M command causing the halt and I don't see anywhere I can resume printing.  Is that all there is?  I was hoping for a M600 where I can then resume.

@smitty3132 Unless you use the builder, the nightlies only support the smart filament runout sensors.

If your printer stops dead, you're likely shorting out the wrong pins and shorting + to -. This is bad.

According to the pinout I'm using ground and the signal pins.  I'll check for voltage.  Thanks.
